As Selçuk Aker, I consider reading order, typography and content density together in publication design; I separate print and digital usage needs at the beginning.

Before printing, we receive the size, bleed, color profile and PDF requirements from the print supplier. For digital magazine design, file size, links and on-screen readability are also evaluated. PDF design is not the same scope as software development for an interactive publishing platform.
