In freelance graphic design work, although the presentation may appear large on the speaker's screen, it may not be read in the viewer's small window. The slide explained live and the detailed document sent after the meeting do not have the same design needs.

Separate narration and reading version

Live presentation can highlight the main decision; explanations are completed by the speaker. The document to be read on its own later requires more context. Forcing two tasks into the same file can create overly busy slides.

Set up single decision priority on one slide

Let the graphic, title and description support the same conclusion. Instead of showing the long table as a whole, emphasize the part being explained; present the detailed table in the appendix. Unnecessary animations or transitions should not make it difficult to follow information.

Emulate the tracker condition

Examine the slide at the approximate window size in the screen share. Can the basic message, number and visual description be read? If a video or special font will be used, try it beforehand on the device that will make the presentation; Prepare a backup PDF version as well.
